Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Bon Monde collects very little personal information through this site. This policy sets out what we collect, why and what you can require of us. It also explains how we handle event attendee data when we work for a client.
Who is responsible
Bon Monde is a service operated by NQB AI, Quebec, Canada.
The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the Chief Executive Officer of NQB AI. For any request about this policy or about your information, write to [email protected].
What we collect on this site
We use no cookies, no advertising and no traffic analytics. There is no account to create and nothing that follows you between visits. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the page sends nothing to a third party.
- Request form
- The name, work email, company, event, event date, add-ons and description of who you want to meet that you type in.
- Submission metadata
- The IP address, the browser identifier (user agent), the date and the time of the submission.
- Server logs
- The requests our server receives, which include the IP address.
Why we collect it
We never sell or rent your information. We do not use it for advertising and we build no profile of you.
- Answering you
- The only reason the request form exists.
- Business follow-up
- Continuing the exchange you started.
- Protecting the service
- The IP address and user agent help us tell a genuine request from an automated one.
Your consent
Submitting the form means you agree to us using this information to reply to you. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to [email protected].
Event attendee data we handle for clients
When a client hires us for an event, we review attendee profiles that are visible to that client in the event's networking app. We do this on the client's behalf and only for that event.
- What we use
- The professional information in attendee profiles, such as name, title, company and the interests attendees chose to share in the app.
- What we do with it
- We build a shortlist for the client and, if the client asks, send first messages from the client's account.
- What we never do
- We do not sell this data, reuse it for another client or keep a database of attendees across events.
- How long we keep it
- We delete it once the event is over.
If you attended an event and want to know whether we processed your profile, or want it removed, write to [email protected].
Who else has access
We disclose your information to no one for commercial purposes. Requests are stored on a server located in Quebec. Some technical providers do sit in the chain:
- Network infrastructure
- A provider routes and protects the site's traffic.
- A provider hosts our mailboxes. The notification of your request arrives there.
- Data processing
- To review attendee profiles for clients, we use AI services that process the data on our behalf and do not use it to train their models.
Some of these providers are American companies, so a copy of some information may be processed outside Canada. We will name these providers on request.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as the business relationship it opened remains active, then for the time needed to meet our legal and tax obligations. An exchange that went nowhere and an ongoing mandate do not call for the same treatment, so we set no uniform period.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Requests are stored on a server whose access is restricted to the people who need it and administrative access requires authentication.
Your rights
Quebec law gives you the following rights over the information we hold about you.
- Access
- Obtain the list of the information we hold and receive a copy of it.
- Correction
- Have information corrected when it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous.
- Deletion
- Ask us to stop keeping it once the purpose has been fulfilled.
- Withdrawal of consent
- End our use of your information.
- Portability
- Receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
Write to [email protected] to exercise any of them. We answer within 30 days.
If our answer does not satisfy you
You may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, which oversees the protection of personal information in the private sector.
Changes
We may change this policy. The date at the top of this page indicates the version in force.
